Albert Hoffsten (Dec. 13, 1887 - 1927) was a Swedish artist who was a member of the group, De Unge from 1910. He showed in France and at home in Sweden, and is represented at Nationalmuseum Stockholm and Moderna Museet.

Axel Olson (Oct. 22, 1899 - 1986) was a Swedish Surrealist painter, associated with several artists’ groups, such as De Unga and Halmstadgruppen. He had studied extensively in Germany before the Nazi take-over, but after the war he turned to French inspirations instead. Here is partial self-portrait, expressing the painter’s search for himself:

Pelle Åberg (April 21, 1909 - 1964) was a Swedish painter from an artist family. He studied and worked for many years with his father as a decorator, learning the crafts aspects.

Åberg was a founder member of the artists' association 'De unga', and has works (often depicting figures from neighborhoods in Stockholm) in many Swedish museums, including Prins Eugen's Waldemarsudde and Moderna Museet.

Leander Engström (Feb. 27, 1886 - 1927) was one of the great Swedish expressionists. He studied with Matisse, and co-founded a group of Swedish radical artists who called themselves De Unga (The Young Ones).

He traveled widely in Europe butt loved the Swedish North where he llived each summer and often painted the landscapes and Same culture.
