(I had originally posted this last night like... Three times? But tumblr ate it or something so have it today)
OH HEY I completely forgot it was Tuesday! This week I have another GREAT TIP that I picked up at Otakon for you- this time from the lovely folks over at The Five Wits.
This week's tip is about pre-conditioning wigs (especially handy for long wigs).
Get a bucket and some liquid fabric softener (must be liquid). Put 3 parts fabric softener and 5 parts water in the bucket and dump your wig in there. Let it soak overnight, then pull it out and let it dry out on a towel (do not rinse it out). The comb it out and be amazed! It should be easy to comb and stay nice and smooth when you wear it.
On that note: Carry a dryer sheet with you around con, and when your wig starts to get all static-y, rub it down with the dryer sheet. That ought to take care of the static frizz.
