(prev) When Reverend Miriam started making strange hand gestures Doctor Walters tilted his head. Was she about to cast a spell? Or was she just measuring him? “My measurements are-” There wasn’t enough time to cut in before she spoke again. Maybe it was for something else? He didn’t see the point in taking them herself. Doctor Walters nodded along until she was done. After she was done he gave her a thumbs up and said, “Noted.” Once she was gone he worked on sorting his possessions into several groups: Absolutely necessary, ask to keep, discretely pass to Autumn, and items he wouldn’t miss. Well… there was one item that needed special treatment: His keycard. Thankfully the CAPT Project key had already been deactivated and given to Bert as a memento for safe keeping. The other, however, was both active and far more critical to the Hater Empire. There was only surefire one way to dispose of it… Doctor Walters searched the jail for a spyder cam. Once he saw it he made sure to smirk at it before turning away from Amy and cracking it into several pieces. Then he swallowed it and put his hand on his mouth as he resisted the urge to spit them out. The texture was bad enough. The flavoring added to keep people from eating them, on the other hand, was almost unbearable….
Once Miriam was gone, a loud metallic bang came from the other end of the jail. Amy was kicking her cell bars to tell Bowtie she was still there, still bloodthirsty, but evidently couldn’t speak. She went back to attacking the punching bag, quicker and louder than before.
After about ten minutes, footsteps started coming from the stairwell. “Heeey Amy,” Autumn’s voice could be heard. Another loud clang followed.
“Oh, did she mute you again? Figures,” they said rather unsympathetically before searching the cells for the new prisoner. Once she came upon him, she forced a smile and chimed, “Heeey Theodore.”
Autumn was carrying a basket with clothes. They eyed Theodore’s belongings. Some of the stuff looked… rather interesting. “Oh! Okay good, I see you’ve sorted your things. May I enter?”
