I'm checking out videos of the Fafner stage musicals on your google drive site, but I'm wondering about the difference between the 2013 Stage Musical and 2011 Fact and Recollection in terms of story. Are they both adaptations of Dead Aggressor or is one of them sort of like a reimagining with deviations from canon or a rewrite ala Rebuild of Evangelion?

Yes, they are both adaptations of the first season of Fafner. The 2011 Fact and Recollection stage play basically covers the first half of Dead Aggressor, and the 2013 Fafner Stage Musical picks up from there and covers the second half. I don't remember there being any major revisions, but it is definitely condensed and rewritten as much as was necessary to adapt the story for the stage and keep it from being too long. They use the songs angela wrote two new songs, Remember me and 生命 -イノチ-, and revised Shangri-la to use in the 2013 musical.
