Having to end your first date with the nice man named Simon that you matched with early. The babysitter has to leave early for a family emergency. You apologize to Simon and try to pay for your half of the meal only for him to wave you off.

"Ain't gonna let you pay." He had said. He wasnt upset at all, just wanted you to text him when you made it home. You did.

Later that night, after you got your kid to sleep you sent him a text thanking him for understanding.

- Your kid comes first, I wouldn't expect anything different, Love. Was thinking our next date could be a park so you wouldnt need a sitter. Or is it too soon?

He wasnt upset when you explained you wanted to know him better before introducing your kiddo to him.

Retired Johnny taking in his 23 year old neighbor because her mother remarried and the guys a dick.

New guy thinks he's her dad and tries to order her around and discipline her even though she pays half the rent and is an adult.

Johnny and her were on good terms, always chatting with each other and flirting. When he saw a bruise in the shape of a hand on her wrist well....

Next day all her stuff is moved out and across the street before the bloke even got home. Johnny had her all snug on the couch before dinner.

When the guys come over for the weekly poker game they're not surprised at all to find her there. Johnny's been talking their ears off about the pretty birdie that lives across the street for a damn year now.

He was happy she was here really, she was helping get a schedule set for his son and himself, kid was improving with his speach to! Until Simon wasn't happy.

Simon was angry and frustrated at the nanny the agency sent. His 3 year old kid is screaming in his room cause he don't wanna sleep and this lady is telling him not to go in.

A heated argument debate happens and he says some things he shouldn't of.

"Do you have fuckin kids?!" He spits at her.

(she's had this convo before with multiple families)

She takes a deep breath, "No, Mr. Riley, I do not have children."

"Why the fuck the agency sending someone who don't understand what it's like then! The hell are you even here for. Don't know shit!"

"Mr. Riley, if you would take a deep breath and talk to me instead of yelling-"

He cuts her off, "I ain't letting someone that don't have kids tell me how to deal with my kid!"

He's taken back by the way her demeanor shifts. Her back straightens and she all but glares at him. She pulls out her cell and taps the screen.

"Fuck you doing?"

"Informing the agency that a new nanny is requested. Someone with children, as you said someone who doesn't have any wouldn't understand." You snap your phone shut and turn towards the front door, "As I am unable to have children I won't be of any help to you."

You leave him there, shutting the door as you walk down the path towards your car.

You're the only worker at the 'Cozy Cover', a night library. You've worked here for about 4 months and you're 100% sure it's just a cover business for Mafia men.

After completing a mountain of paperwork, thanks Soap, you and Captain Price are having a cup of tea and digging into your lunches. You've been in a foul mood all morning and he's gonna get to the bottom of it. After all, your smile and cheerful attitude get him through deskwork.

Before he even gets a chance to say anything you're turning sad eyes on him.

"What do guys find clingy?" You refocus your eyes to the table.

"Hmm? Clingy?"

You give a small nod, "My boyfriend... he said I was too clingy and broke up with me."

An idiot to be sure. His thought was confirmed when you further explained that all you did was cook for him when you were home, made sure his clothes were cleaned. Wanting to cuddle and watch a movie. Wifely gestures wasted on some wet behind the ears boy he thinks.

"Don't fret over him." He holds onto your hand. "Just need someone a little older, yeah?"

He and the team are retired. John has a wife and a 6 year old girl. The guys are over watching a game when his wife slams the door open and they all freeze when they hear little Lillian's cries.

"John! Im going to jail!" His wife yells. That gets all of them moving.

"S'going on Love?" He gets to the livingroom only to stop short. Soap runs into him.

His little girl is sobbing, her once long hair now cut up on one side. She runs to him and grabs his leg.

His wife is livid, "Madie's mother cut her hair! Can you believe that! Said it was a rats nest and she couldnt brush it!" Shes passing, ears red with rage. "We both know that's rubish!"

The 141 having a nice night at the bar, overhearing a man telling what can only his ex that she's "used goods" they've never seen someone get punched in the face so fast. A rage filled women standing over the guy who's now laid out on the ground.

All have to adjust themselves.
