Dead Method has released his new album ‘Future Femme. Produced by Edward Russell (Inside The Groove), the album is a reinvention of Dead Method’s signature witty pop motif that explores his experiences as an LGBTQ+ artist, and features collaborations with MADITRONIQUE, Jack Rua and Brendan Maclean, as well as a mixture of English and Welsh language lyrics.

Dead Method is a pop star for the new age, whose music plunges deep into the depths of alternative electro pop with a dark edge as he explores life itself. From love and loss to politics, gender and more with sobering honesty and poetic flair. Dead Method - ‘Femme!’ 

Dead Method released his brand new single ‘FEMME!’. Kicking off a new era of pop with an edge. This 80′s style Synth-pop celebration is catchy as, and culminates Dead Method’s reign as one of the capitol’s most prolific and consistently impressive producers. 

The song is a celebration of Dead Method’s feminine side, and all of the powerful LGBTQ+ people in his life, exploring the pros and cons of living authentically. 

Working with Edward Russell (Inside The Groove) who produced the track, they’ve created a new world of heavy bass, energetic beats and socially conscious lyrics.

Alongside ‘FEMME’, he is also releasing a b-side: ‘Fast Fashion’ - a scathing exploration of the environmental impact of the Fashion industry and how the burden is often passed to the poorest among us in the face of gentrification.

Alternative pop artist Dead Method returns with his electrifying new single ‘Dance With The Devil’ - Dark sub bass romp from the master of Welsh Alt-pop 

Dead Method has released sensational new single ‘Dance With The Devil’ via Cardiff’s Rose Parade Recording Co.’s Singles Club.

The first material to be released since his debut album ‘Queer Genesis’, ‘Dance with the Devil’ is Dead Method’s (aka Lloyd Best) most polished track yet, taking his signature spooky sound to the next level.

The track was produced with long-time collaborator and producer Minas, a process that, due to the pandemic, took place entirely online with Lloyd Best recording all his vocals at home.

Speaking about the single, he says, “I wanted to explore the politics between religion and sexual preference and how that has affected generations of queer people. As a gay man I have had years of being told I was going to hell or committing sin and there comes a time when you must look beyond their fiction and question why they are telling you this.

It’s all a control tactic. Choosing to dance with the ‘Devil’, is choosing freedom and liberation over chains and turmoil. It comes with a realisation that the world won’t end if you choose to behappy and disregard the fears/prejudices other people place over you.”

For those yet to make his acquaintance, Dead Method is one of Wales’ finest pop talentsand a true DIY popstar. He creates all his artwork, videos and imagery himself, staying firmly in control of his artistic vision. NEWS: CARDIFF ELECTRONIC ARTIST DEAD METHOD RELEASES NEW ALTERNATIVE POP TRACK - 'BABYLON' via AFANC LABEL

Dead Method returns with their hotly anticipated new track Babylon, an assertive alternative pop anthem for outcasts and outsiders searching for their tribe. Taking influence from PC Music without falling back on cliche, the track was produced by Minas who has worked with Dan Betteridge, Tierny & Local to name a few.

The track is taken from Dead Method’s upcoming debut album Queer Genesis, which will release in September, 2020. The album is a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and middle finger to oppression.

They say: “Babylon depicts a great exodus of queer people who have fled their home to find solace and family elsewhere. Drawing from my experience with a previous lover who was flown back to his home country when his family found out he was bisexual only to return as a “heterosexual” with an arranged marriage.

It was also influenced by the experiences of several of my friends who were unable to return to their home countries as they would not be safe. It’s about finding your true family and how members of the LGBTQ+ community get to pick their family despite our troubled circumstances.

Babylon is self-acceptance and finding a home outside of what society told you the concept of home is.”
