Sirius did pass on, guys.

Ok, so. I’ve been seeing for like years. People saying that our beloved Sirius Black was stuck in between the living world and the afterlife, and so, I decided to research it.

I found that the Veil is a passageway between the world of the living and the afterlife, and once you pass through it you can’t go back.

The Veil transports you DIRECTLY to the afterlife.

It says NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING about anyone getting stuck, or not being able to pass on (at least in the Potterverse, I didn’t research outside of the Potterverse). (Is it ok that I’m calling it the Potterverse?? Is that like not a good thing anymore??? no support to jkr if that’s like not ok to say I’m just talking abt the universe Sirius lives in 😭😭)

But siriusly guys, stop saying he doesn’t pass on. He does. He was seen in the resurrection stone, which only shows people from the afterlife. Stop spreading myths, I’ve cried over this too many times 😭😭

Anyway take that news as you will and don’t come at me if you think I’m wrong please I’m just tryna create some happiness in this dam fandom 😭😭

Pretty sure I’ve posted this before but oh well. Remus lupin was in more pain then Harry was when Sirius fell through the veil. A man he’d known and loved and that had loved him for most of his life just died in front of him but here he was holding back a teenager to stop him from trying to go through the veil. Remus was sad to see Sirius go but was happy that he was finally free. Harry felt maybe a fraction of what Remus did.

Through the darkness, there comes a warm, familiar voice. It calls out his name.

A shadow steps forward, a hand finds his shoulder. A face emerge, inches from his own.

Sirius. There he is, wearing the very clothes in which he died, and his eyes— his eyes. They gaze into Remus’ with all their sadness of a lifetime. Remus could only squeeze his eyes shut against it.

Then, the hands are cradling his cheeks, and there’s a breath fluttering against his lips.

“Remus,” came the whisper, “darling— you’ve got to let me go.”

Remus’ eyes snap open, face to face again with cold, empty darkness. He should have known, Remus thinks to himself. He should have known, that any light, any warmth left now could be nought but imaginary.
