Today is the day for our neighbor's giant #tree to be #demolished - it was a #sicktree #infested with #barkbeetles which have destroyed many old giant trees in the #Tucson area. Nothing you can do to save them, just have to save enough $$ to have the teee taken down ( because the beetles will #infest other trees in the area if you simply #prune #branches. SOOOOO NOW, I have a mountain of broken branches in my front yard ( they said they would be careful not to kill my wildflowers and baby #creasote bushes but I have my doubts, because the dude was testy when I asked him to be careful) our mornings are going to be so much brighter, as that tree was located on the south east side of our lot. I will be relieved not to have the big #deadbranches hanging over my bedroom ( I would sleep in another room when it was windy for fear of having a branch drop on us at night when asleep) More pics when it's done# (at Blenman - Elm, Tucson)
