Imagine if you will...
“I’m heading out!” Wade called out to his better half. He was leaving for a hit, packing his favourite guns into his Hello Kitty backpack. The client had ordered bullets to be the means to an end specifically, he needed to blend in, get in and out quickly, so he left his katanas and suit behind.
Wade strapped the holographic image inducer around his wrist and clicked the button. ZZZzzapp!
His clothes and the Hello Kitty backpack collapsed into a pile on the floor where Wade had stood.
“Ouch!” he exclaimed, voice muffled, seemingly from nowhere. Pretty sure that someone had hit him over the head with a gun.
“Why’d it get so dark? Ouff,” noises of struggle. The pile of clothes moved around. “Hello?! Where AM I?” he knew he hadn’t used the teleporter, worry etched up in him. Was he now Red Jesus Matt Murdock? GOD FORBID.
“Help,” he whined as he battled against the warm darkness that caved in on him from all angles. With some effort he finally emerged into the bright light gasping.
Two yellow ears stood straight up, a tiny little button nose stretched curiously up into the air. “When did this room get so big?”
Everything felt different. His limbs shorter, and he suddenly had a craving for scratches.
Wade looked at his hands paws.
“Aw holographic image inducer, no!” he groaned.
