Hi. I am half black and half white. Though I grew up in a catholic home, I am a practicing Buddhist. Tibetan Buddhism has very heavy Hindu influences, and so Ganesha and Aum mean a lot to me. I was thinking about getting them tattooed as a reminder of my spirituality. Would others still consider it appropriation because I am not Asian or Indian? Thank you.
