Not being brave enough to end it. I just sort of... turned off my phone. I know, it’s shitty and I regret so now.

NO. It isn’t. Just today I listened to my groupmate (23 yo) bemoaning how her 40 yo (married) boyfriend sometimes is treating her. And another groupmate told a similar story about when she dated a guy 10 years older than her. So no. I don’t believe age is just a number. At least not when you are in your early 20s and have no life experience.
