We’re so excited to finally release Deadly Devotion - A ViaRook Zine, a collaborative fan project made with hard work, care, and so much love.
This zine contains 480+ pages of fanmade content created for the ViaRook community, including stories, artwork, and short written pieces centered on devotion in all its tender, dangerous, and complicated forms. We can’t wait to share it with you.
Once we receive it, we’ll send you the digital PDF version of the zine.
You are welcome to censor any personal or sensitive information from your proof of donation. We only need to be able to confirm the donation itself.
After this two-month donation period, the zine will be made available for free, with donations still encouraged for anyone who is able to contribute.
This way, all donations go directly to the charity, and we do not handle, collect, or hold any of the funds ourselves.
Please note that this is a digital PDF zine only. No physical item will be shipped.
Content notice: This zine is rated Mature and is intended for adult audiences. Please review the content warnings included in the PDF before reading.
Thank you all so much for your patience, support, and enthusiasm. We hope you enjoy the zine!
Every like and reblog helps! So if you’re unable to donate, sharing the release post is already a wonderful way to support the project. 💚
More information about donations and regional access below.
Additional note about donations and regional access:
Before release, we looked into several possible ways to make the donation process easier and more accessible, including creating a PayPal option where we would collect donations first and donate the full amount to the charity at the end of the two-month period.
After testing, however, PayPal withheld the funds and did not allow us to donate using PayPal balance alone. Because of this, we do not feel comfortable collecting or holding donation money ourselves, especially for a charity project. We want this process to be as transparent and secure as possible for everyone.
We are also aware that the official donation options may be region-blocked in some countries. We are truly sorry if this prevents you from donating directly. We tried multiple possible solutions before making this decision, but the safest option available to us right now is to have all donations go directly through the Transgender Law Center’s official donation pages.
Please do not send donation funds directly to any mod, contributor, or personal PayPal account. To receive the zine during the donation period, please donate through the official charity links only, then email us your proof of donation.
If you are unable to donate because of regional limitations, please don’t worry. The zine will still be made available for free after the two-month donation period, and sharing the release post is already a wonderful way to support the project!
(Viago De Riva & Alba, not quite a "De Riva" yet, who was still learning what "being a Crow" meant, circa 9:41 Dragon, Treviso)
Transcript:
VIAGO: Alba! I told you THOUSANDS of times to be more discreet!
You put yourself through unnecessary danger and almost compromised our mission!
(Alba grunts of pain as Viago carefully disinfects his wounds.)
Don't move. Stay still. STILL.
ALBA: You told me a Crow never abandons a contract, we had to do something while our mark was still around! And—
VIAGO: Raaah... Mierda, Al. I can't stay mad at you, dumbass.
(Viago interrupts the elf with a passionate kiss.)
This comic and spot illustrations were done for Deadly Devotion, a (free digital) Viarook zine organised by @me-envenena-viago!
Viago & Angel De Riva, for @lotusfueltofire's fic "Kill me softly", a wonderful vampire AU! 👀

Viago de Riva must die...
The glittering lights of Antiva sprawled out before him like a sea of stars, made all the better for the knowledge that it was his. His doman, his to rule. At last. The weight of the golden band around his brow pressed into his temples enough to make them ache, but not so heavy as the ceremonial crown he'd worn, now returned to the security of the treasury. Six hours he had worn it. Through the procession from the palace to Antiva City's grandest chantry, Nostra Signora Del Fuoco; while priests sang through the Canticle of Benedictions; and as the rites were read and vows given. All presided over the Grand Cleric of Antiva.
He had, of course, had invitations sent to the Divine in hopes She would bless the coronation with Her presence. As a courtesy, really, for it would proceed with or without Her blessing. And it had in grand style. For once, when he felt the seething eyes of merchant prince and noble alike upon him, he had been pleased.

To celebrate, we'd like to remind you about our zine, Deadly Devotion. All proceeds support the Transgender Law Center (TLC), the largest national trans-led organization in the United States. TLC advocates for the rights of transgender and gender-nonconforming people, helping build a future where everyone can live freely, safely, and authentically.
If you're interested in the zine and would like to support a wonderful cause, you can donate directly to TLC and receive a digital PDF copy of the zine in return!
Here's how:
Donate any amount to the Transgender Law Center through their donation page or PayPal.
Even if you're not interested in the zine itself, we encourage you to support not only TLC, but any LGBTQIAPN+ organization that needs our help. Pride is every month, but June gives us a special opportunity to celebrate our diversity, uplift one another, and support our communities.
No donation is too small. Whether it's $1, $5, $15, or whatever you're able to give, every contribution helps organizations continue their important work.
We'd also like to remind everyone that the zine includes trans characters and trans stories. So if you're interested in trans Viarook, we've got you covered. 🤭
This is our final push to raise donations for the Transgender Law Center before Deadly Devotion becomes free for everyone on July 17th.
If you've been thinking about supporting the project—or simply want to contribute to a wonderful cause—this is your chance. ❤️
Every donation, no matter the amount, will get you a copy of the zine. Simply donate whatever you'd like to the Transgender Law Center, then email your proof of donation to [email protected], and we'll send the zine straight to your inbox.
Yes, the zine will be available for free in just a few days—but until then, this is a chance to help an organization that works tirelessly to support and advocate for the transgender community. Your donation goes directly to them, and the zine is our way of saying thank you.
Even if you don't want a copy of the zine, we'd still encourage you to consider supporting the Transgender Law Center if you're able. Every contribution helps.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Deadly Devotion over these 2 past months. Whether you donated, contributed, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on, you've helped make this project something truly special. 💚
