For Someone who understands MCU - even after all those years i cannot understand why they ditched BlackWidows actual back story, scratched her using the super serum and making her into a normal human, just so whiny fans could say how pointless she is. I
Was re-reading deadly-origin for some inspiration, and started to think how great of a movie that could be BUT NO, BECAUSE MCU WAS LIKE - FAK NO, WE WILL NOT MAKE HER A COOL ASS BLACK WIDOW, SHE IS JUST THERE FOR THE ASS.
Like was there any decent reason? It is not like superserum did not exist, because they have Cap and Winter Soldier, so, you know, nothing creepy about 90-year olds around. I understand why they ditched bunch of romantic sub-plots that widow had with other heroes, but why ditch the whole thing? Was there an interview i missed or whatever, or are there any good posts talking about it?
