So I had this really nice long answer and tumblr ate it...

Christmas, I think. Not for the gifts or a religious reason or anything like that. All of my dad's side of the family always spends Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my grandma's house. We do the same things every year. We do Christmas crackers and take a pictures wearing those paper hats that come in them. We have the same foods every year. We tell the same stories. It's been like that...since before I was born, I think, bc I have a few cousins who are several years older than I am. I have 3 cousins who are close to my age, so when we were little we would all play together. We'd usually go in one of the back rooms and play nintendo and sometimes we'd get a 'crazy' gift from my grandma that we'd all share and would stay at her house. So we'd all have a ton of fun. And I mean, a lot of things have changed, but that helps me appreciate the things that have stayed the same even more ya know?
