Dead Silence came in theaters in 2007 and it was directed by James Wan. A ventriloquist ghost takes people's voices and has a terrifying smile which that really freaks me out. This horror film is quite terrifying and did have good background story of Mary Shaw. The dummy Billy never really scared me that much until Mary Shaw shows up out of nowhere either from the shadows or in a dark place that she'll pop out. However it isn't quite the best horror movie but it had the elements of fear. Watch out for Mary Shaw because she'll take your voice so don't scream.
