Does my muse trust yours?  "Onna th' only people I trust wit'out hesitation." His lips curve. "Baby brother is the soft, sweet one. He ain't th' type ta be anythin' but honest and sickenin'ly noble. Best and worst traits. Boy never did learn better'n...'m so proud of him. But that ain't nothin' I wanna tell him."  

Does my muse dislike yours? "Dislike how...much he adjusts how easily he does. Sometimes wish I could be as...flexible wit' people. But suppose it means I didn't completely fail ta protect th' better parts of 'im. Fucked a lotta shit up but...at least he...might make it."

Would my muse kill someone for yours? "Without hesitation. No one threatens my mop-headed siblin'. No one. I will fist-fight fuckin' God if he looks cross-eyed at m' baby brother."

Would my muse kill your muse? "Fuck...Don'...ya dare make me hafta make that choice, Darylina. Ya hear me, ya little shit? Don' yer fuckin' die or get bit! Don' ya...make me hafta...bury yer. Don't yer make me hafta make that call. Fuck, Dare...dontcha do that to O'l Merle." He would never be the same if he had to. It would absolutely crush him.

Would my muse save yours?  "In a fuckin' heartbeat but I hafta hope he's learned how ta fuckin' save himself. He ain't a goddamn damsel so he'd best have gotten rid of those heels and learned by god. But I am his older brother so I will fight whatever fuckin' battles I hafta. No questions asked."

Does my muse find your muse attractive?  "Oh sure," he drawls laughing, "The mop-headed fool who looks like he ain't ever seen a razor in his life is definitely th' hottest thin' here. He's m' little brother so I don' know what th' fuck yer waitin' ta hear."

Is my muse disgusted by yours?  "Darylina's got terrible table manners but nah, ain't disgusted. Not a bit."

would my muse go on a date with your muse? "Look, know th' fuckin' world ended but...I don' think it's gotten to that point yet. An' sides, think Darylina has better taste'n that. One hasta hope at the least."

would my muse kiss yours? "Th' fuck..." He sighs before his lips curve upwards and he laughs. "Sure, why not? Hey, Darylina, c'mere!" Makes kissing noises before cackling. "Yer buncha neurotic busybodies. Th' fuck ya think this is? Alabama?"   

would my muse betray yours? "Th' fuck I ever would. That is m' goddamn baby brother. I know I fucked up. So goddamn much but I ain't losin' him again. Never. Fuckin' again. Ya hear me?!"

How easily he learns to like people. Merle dislikes his ease of trust and how he clearly still can trust people. Merle has such a trouble with this. And he knows it wears on people's nerves a lot that he's prickly and angry all the time.

Carol stopped by Rick's room on her way to bed and leaned against the door. She gave him a soft smile, trying not to get caught peaking at his bare chest. She pulled her lip between her teeth when she felt her stomach do a little flip. She swallowed thickly as her blue eyes suddenly became soft with desire. She cleared her throat. "Just wanted to say good night."

Rick was seated on the edge of his bed and looked up. He couldn't help but notice the way the t-shirt hit her mid-thigh. Her body was soft and toned. He wanted to touch it to confirm his suspicions, but he'd been a good boy. Or tried to. He felt his jeans tighten. "Why don't you come and keep me company?"

Her eyes moved up, locking on his. She was trying to figure out if he was being serious or not, seeing that he was, she slowly shut the door behind her and turned the lock so that they couldn't be disturbed. "Are you sure?"

He stood up, undoing his jeans and letting them fall to the floor as a way of an answer. "It doesn't have to mean anything. I just don't wanna feel lonely tonight. And I want to feel good for once." He stepped out of his jeans and moved toward her. He gently pulled the hair tie from her hair and let her gray curls tumblr to her shoulders. He cupped her cheeks with both hands as he kissed her deeply. "I want to make you feel good."

She gripped his wrists tightly as her blue eyes held his gaze. "I need it to mean something, Rick. I so badly need it to mean everything." So it did. It meant everything and more.

Where the Whiskey Goes Down Better || Carol & Rick || @deadveiled

Carol's lungs felt as if they were going to burst as she tried to catch her breath as soon as Rick had shut the door behind them. The scratching and moaning was muffled through the door of the church, and if they didn't barricade it, they'd be inside and on them in no time. She leaned forward, hands on her knees as she tried to force the thoughts through her brain so she could help protect them.

Her feet carried her forward as she shouldered her quiver full of arrows and through her bow over it in order to manage shifting the closest pew toward where Rick stood holding the door closed as best as he could. She was running on nothing but sheer adrenaline at this point as she pushed it all the way to him. "Help me, yeah?" If they could get this one wedged in there, they could use another couple of them to keep that one in place and keep the walkers out.

It wasn't until they had secured the door that she leaned against the closest wall and sat down heavily. The adrenaline had left her body almost all at once, and she felt give out. Her hands shook as she brushed the hair from her face. "Looks like we'll be here a while." She was just glad that she'd packed enough rations for a possible overnight.

Saskia groaned as she was woken up by someone shuffling around her, she'd become a hugely light sleeper since the end and now any tiny sound someone made woke her up, which infuriated her more than anything.

Eyes still almost closed as she sat up, she only figured it was Glenn from his voice, not quite figuring out the distinct sound of how people moved yet. "You did," she whispered, rubbing her face before opening her eyes fully. "Do you need me on watch or something?"

Saskia was having the world's worst day; probably a huge exaggeration but she certainly wasn't having a good day. Well, how can you have a good day when a walker explodes in your face and now you're completely covered in blood, guts and god knows what else.

Wiping her face of most of the blood with a semi clean cloth, she shook her head at Carl's question. "Don't even start; I look, feel and smell gross."

"Contrary to what people might tell you... A lot of us have broken the rules at least once. Sometimes you have to in order to do the right thing. The question is: which rules did you break? If I'm going to be your alibi then I need to know what we're working with, yeah?" Michonne smiled faintly, her expression knowing. It was hard enough being so young in general, let alone amidst an apocalyptic world.

She could only imagine being in his shoes. He deserved a break every now and then so if she could take some of the heat to make it easier, she would.

Saskia honestly barely slept since the whole world went to shit, barely getting more than a couple hours at a time and she'd only really started getting more sleep once she found Rick and his group. Being by herself clearly wasn't a good idea.

Wrapping a blanket around herself, she gave him a sympathetic smile. "Did you want to talk about it?" she asked quietly. "Unless it's the usual Walker problem."

A soft huff expelled from slightly parted lips, followed by a soft chuckle. Less in humor and more like irony. What Daryl said was both accurate and ironic in every sense of the word. It was exhausting, feeling like always fighting for every little thing. But it seemed to be the only way now.

"Isn't every place cursed now?" Michonne murmured, crossing her arms. No place was safe...Not really. Each time they settled down, something always happened. Something to take every single thing that they worked so hard for.

"Or maybe...We are the ones who are cursed. Even so, we do what we can. Help who we can."
