By the way while I have been inactive on YouTube (which will change tomorrow) I have still been writing away at this book. I don't have a name for it yet. "My experience being deaf" sounds a little boring. It's coming along nicely though and I'm having a lot of fun recalling Some of the funnier stories. My mum keeps texting with new ones she remembers too that I can put in.

In my final year of school I took the Book Design class, where I learned to deeply research a subject, summarize the information, and present it in written and pictorial form. For my project I decided to write a book about deaf language, culture, and community, as a way of better understanding my cousin, who was born deaf. I took a Sign Language class at York University, so my primary research was first hand experience learning about signs, going to deaf conventions, and talking with my teacher. I presented the book as a way for a hearing person to understand the deaf community more, and it serves as an introduction to both their language and culture.
