A new chance
After the war and the clearance of his name Severus decided to continue teaching at Hogwarts. But one thing that didn't change was the accidents that happened in potions. Usually the accidents could be fixed with a quick trip the the infirmary but this was not one of those cases. Even after a trip to St. Mungo's and the ministries best, Severus Snape wasn't back to normal. Instead he was an infant, mind and all. Which meant he needed a caregiver and while Minerva would love to fill that role she wasn't able to, neither were the Weasley's, the Malfoy's and so on. This is how she found herself, at her last option.
"Sirius?" She called as she exited the floor carrying a basket that contained a sleeping baby Severus Snape.
