— SETTING: dean's apartment ; evening — AVAILABILITY: closed starter for MAYA LEE | ( @mayxlee )
As much as he didn't want keep thinking of this as his luck finally turning around when it came to the matters of the heart, Dean was still excited to be spending some time alone with Maya, away from prying eyes and crowds.
They had shared a dance at Verda's and Emmy's wedding, and, while he wouldn't say his high school crush came back in full force, there was something daunting about Maya Lee. Something he was curious to get to know more of.
Considering the fact that their last two meetings had happened in crowded places, the silence of his kitchen as he finished mixing the ingredients of their dessert was a huge change. Well, not exactly silence since Dean could hardly say he functioned without music, but still... there was a difference.
After he'd mixed everything up, Dean then, set up the small table for the two of them and moved to his bedroom for a quick shower.
He kept checking on his phone to see if Maya had texted him, hoping there wouldn't be a message cancelling anything, but his response came in the form of the buzzer ringing and him hearing her voice on the other side of the intercom before buzzing her in.
He wiped his sweaty palms on his pair of jeans and double checked everything before opening the door when she knocked. "Hey." His boyish grin spread across his face as Dean saw her. His gaze pooled over her as he stepped aside to let her in. "Um... according to Uber Eats, our dinner will be here soon." Well, at least he was honest. He'd told her he couldn't cook to save his life, but dessert would be on him. "Want me to put your coat in my bedroom?" It wasn't a weird offer, was it? His friends just tossed their coats and jackets around, so he figured he could offer? "You want to drink something?"
