Surprise || Laura & Dean
Walking at Hogwarts's Garden was always a wonderful experience - even in winter, when most plants were dead and the weather very cold, she would find herself smiling at the view. It could be so different than the DA, even when full of students, and she loved staying there to study or play some of her favourites instruments. That day, though, less than one week after the end of the Christmas Break, Laura wasn't there for any of those things, but to find one person. "It's ok, go on... I'll find you there, then!" The Hufflepuff smiled at Adelaide, who had been helping her for three long hours now. Laura didn't blame her best friend for wanting to leave, especially because they had just found the last person on the list, so she waved and watched her go - just before turning around once again and looking for... Dean!
The list Laura had been carried was filled with names of people she still hadn't managed to give their gifts. Her owl was somewhat old and couldn't travel much, so Laura had to separate some gifts to give them once back at school; she sorted those names, because the Hufflepuff didn't want to actually choose. Right now, after giving almost all the presents, only Dean's was missing, and she smiled right after finding him. He seemed focused, looking at some cards as if studying them, by himself - the last bit was a surprise, since she didn't see him alone that much. For a brief moment she thought of a normal approach, not wanting to disturb him, but Laura was way too excited to be as normal as she could. In other words, she started walking very silently, in an angle she could only see his back, trying not to call any attention for herself.
"Guess who it is?" The blonde asked with a broad smile once she got closer, just after covering his eyes with her own hands, wanting to surprise him. They had been friends for some time now, so this shouldn't be a problem - or awkward - at all.
