also a lot of things can happen until next sunday
if the last week is any indication, that is a given yes. you’re completely right. I just hope that those things will be “good” things for the greek people.

well i'm from cyprus actually but i lived in gr long enough to know that yes they might be bluffing but also, bc i do have an opinion in politics and talked to people that know more, i really believe that the two options are basically the same. cont.

the people in greece have a lot of influences from the media that are mostly decieving them so they are going to vote based on what they are telling them.i havent heard the latest news but as i said, we wont know until we know.
shit i’m sorry i made that mistake :$ Well another thing they could do is what they did in Cyrpus a couple of years ago. When people just woke up and they announced that all funds exceeding 10.000€ in all cyprian bank accounts would be seized by the government. That was just criminal. that’s war-like behaviour (as in they did that to my grandparents during WWII to finance the war effort and to prevent the country from collapsing).
and if they don’t do something fast and the country does go bankrupt, public services are going to collapse, social security, etc.
And if it’s a bluff, why for?? They just pissed off the creditors with that referendum proposal and they got nothing in return. The creditors then withdrew their proposal (for the umpteenth time) and now what? Are the greeks going to vote for a proposal that no longer stands?? it doesn’t make any sense.
Is the media like mostly biased in favor of Syriza and ANEL and whatnot or in favor of the “traditional”, pro-european parties?
“We won’t know until we know” was kind of my state of mind before everything went down yesterday haha
i geniunely did not think grexit was a viable option until then. Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing (as you say, we’ll see), hell, it might even be a good thing for greece you never know, but ... it’s like leaping into the unknown and since this is about millions of lives that are at stake, it’s pretty damn terrifying.
And i am honestly annoyed that i am a european citizen, just like the greeks are, but i wil suffer little to no consequences for what is being decided right now and they will suffer big time. what kind of union is that?
