To a Friend Halfway Across the World, but Always There For Me...
I haven't posted anything original to Tumblr in awhile. I've mostly ghosted in and out. Reblogging, watching, smiling when someone liked a long forgotten piece of art from my collection. But, that, I think, makes this post seem even more appropriate. A post to nominate someone for GiveLoveToday. I have to nominate the ever wonderful @deansarmy. Someone that never lets me disappear, no matter how little I might post. Someone who talks to me even when I'm not playing fun games, or creating new works. Someone who seeks me out when all I have to offer in return is me. Caits, thanks for always checking in on me, for always caring. Your ever understanding heart not only helps me when I'm down, or hurt, or angry, but inspires me to keep that same level of understanding. To never make others feel weak or foolish for their struggles no matter how small. To always listen even when you have your own problems. To always help others in their fights. To always love. Caits, thanks for always pushing me to continue. I can't count the times I have come to you feeling lost. Yet, everytime you remind me of my dream, how hard I've worked for it, and that I can get there. You inspire me to always keep fighting. Caits, thank you for being my friend.
