To any guys out there
I’m writing this piece for school in the perspective of a guy and I was wondering, do guys check their hair using their phone cameras to make sure it looks okay?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I have to present the writing piece and I don’t want to make too much of a fool out of myself.
Dear guys of Tumblr or the science side....
And anyone else who does this too, I guess, but I’ve only ever seen guys do this
Why do guys spit? Like, the whole hock a loogie, do that thing with your throat and- fuck
I can’t even think about it without gagging.
Message to every guy out there
I hope you realize how much of a douche you're being when you make remarks like "You *insert action* like a girl" in a derogatory manner. I hope you realize how demeaning it is to have someone measure your attractiveness in numbers from 1 to 10 because, guess what? Insecurities have an ugly way of making you feel like shit for something you cant control, and so many of us young girls have, and are continuing to, measure their self-worth by how much you rate them. This continues onto adulthood, and that just may be the worst part. I hope you see the look of discomfort on your sister's face when an older male in the family makes a blatantly sexist remark and she is unable to say anything for fear of something worse. I hope you see that the females in your lives aren't being "bitches" when they demand society as a whole to stop treating them like objects to be owned. And I hope that you see us as people who are capable of doing things. Both good and horrible.
Hello, Tumblr Followers
Over the whole time i have been on tumblr i dont think i have ever specifically directed any of my posts at you. This has always been a place for me to vent creatively. Im sorry if me posting this is weird but id love to actually get to know you and you to get to know me :) I started a youtube channel about a year ago and it would be super awesome if you could check it out. I know it wont be for everyone and thats ok.
Dear Guys,
Dear Guys, I'm writing this solely to vent. Today I had the sickest experience happen to me. I was dating a guy for about two months, I know that doesn't seem like long but in the context of this story you'll see why. This guy was giving me all of the signs that I needed to feel at peace to move forward and slightly lift up the wall I had built. When you've been through so much- when you aren't raised in a sheltered world or environment, and you go through things people twice your age do at a young one. It destroys you. It screws with your head and your heart. So when you meet someone that makes you feel safe enough to lift up that wall and make yourself vulnerable and they turn around after 2 months of dating and tell you that they don't feel a spark or anything towards you on a level that you've been feeling? It breaks you. It makes you sit there and wonder and contemplate exactly what you did wrong and how you misread the signs. When this person actively is showing affection to you physically- holding you, kissing you, lightly tracing their fingers along your skin; and a few hours later after seeing them and having them do all this to you they open up and tell you they don't feel anything, it makes you sick to your stomach. It throws you out of bounds and has you dizzily looking at the stars dancing around your head as you're so confused and can't seem to find even ground. So guys, if you come across someone who has a big heart and has been through so much already. Do not put that person through more. Do not destroy her all over again. Kindly walk out of her life so that she can meet the man that's going to treat her right. You deserve to find someone that makes you feel like you're at home. But so does she. She deserves every happiness that you do. Just please don't lead her on. Please be honest and open. Please show her that not every guy that comes into her life is going to destroy her. I was lucky enough to get out with just scratches on my heart and maybe a few wounds on my pride and ego. But that wall is right back down- and what makes it worse is that you've now made it harder for the next man that comes after you. You've made it harder for the next man that just might actually want to be with her because he does feel a spark, and because he sees the potential in her that you or she couldn't see in herself. This is a plea to be honest with how you feel, because someone that's so damaged and still healing and learning how to love themselves- shouldn't be told that someone that took an interest in them no longer cares for them as more than a friend. We have plenty of friends, we don't need anymore. Sincerely, A damaged soul
Dear guys,
Us girls don't mean to act crazy when we like you. The emotional part of our brain takes over. Makes us worry and stress we care so much. Give us time to learn to block it out cause a part of us knows it there isn't anything to worry about.
