This is for my lovelies in long distance relationships. What do y'all do to help stay connected with your partner?

I'll go first:

In Discord, in the little profile notes, I have a little conversion chart that helps me figure out what time it is for her since I'm shit at math and for some reason will frequently add 7 hours instead of 5

I have a little list of the stuff she likes in my note pad. Sometimes I'll make paintings with her favorite flowers/colors, or order her favorite food

I've also started fixing my sleep schedule and stuff so we're able to talk without keeping her up too late

So, I split from my gf in my previous posts (the sick gf quotes, the 20 minute response time posts, etc.) bc between red flags and just different priorities, the relationship just wasn't healthy any more and I wasn't happy. I'm doing fine, it's for the best, and we split amicably

That being said

I've started talking with someone else. We've dated before, but split bc the timing wasn't right. We've stayed friends since then and been there for each other through quite a bit. We're gonna give dating another shot, and y'all, I'm down baddd

It's one of those things where I didn't realize quite how much I missed her, but damn-

Anyway, yeah, I've got a good feeling about her. She's always been important to me, but now...now she feels like home.

Fuck, I'm just so happy, y'all, and I wanted to share this with someone

But yeah, expect more poems bc the yearning is yearning 🤭
