Dear past me:

I commend you on your search for self. Thank you for that. You took yourself through ups and downs to figure out what works for you. You put so much care into growing as a person and recognized that you will always be developing, and I would not be nearly as generally content and wholesome as I am now if you hadn't tried yourself out and contemplated the way you had. So thanks for that. Spared me a lot of teen angst.

I have some regrets, but I also have triumphs, and all that I was in the past shaped me into who I am now.
