This Ain’t a Scene | Elesa & Jans

“Elesa love!” Charles her manager had waved her down as she was walking towards the building. Lifting a hand in the air she waved to her manager with a smile on her face. “Charles darling.” Once she reached her they embraced in a hug. 

Pulling away the raven haired girl cocked her head to the side. “So why did you call me here? Especially this early.” It was roughly seven in the morning to which the female was up at this time anyways, so it really wasn’t... early. Charles let out a hearty laugh. “I have a job for you.”

He was very vague on his words as the blue eyed girl crossed her arms over her small chest waiting for him to finish. “It isn’t one for modeling, it’s for acting.” Charles had a bright smile on his face as Elesa gave a slight skeptical look. “I haven’t acted in awhile, you know this.”

At this time the two entered the building as they continued to talk. “I know, but they’re making a new production and it would give your fans something new, to look forward too.” He finished speaking as her blue heels clicked against the tile flooring. Resting her chin on one hand as it was held up by her arm underneath her elbow as she thought. “I guess.” In truth, it’d been a few years since she was asked to act for a production.

“You’ll be working with a well-known actor.” This perked the female’s curiosity a bit. “His name is Jans Joakim.” The model almost lost her footing but luckily caught herself. “I wasn’t expecting someone of that level Charles...” The female’s voice got quiet towards the end as she began to play with her hair. He was well known for his acting career and it made Elesa wonder why she was asked to be in the production with him, it would be better for them to find an actual actress to work with him.

As they passed by employee’s and other people within the building they waved and said their greetings to the model/gym leader. Giving them a warm smile she waved and greeted them in return. “Elesa, do not doubt your acting skills. Everything will be fine.” Charles spoke with confidence within her as Elesa let out a sigh before cracking a smile. “Alright alright Charles.”

Making their way down the same familiar corridor the female then spoke up. “When will we be meeting with them?” Giving him a curious look the male let out a laugh. “Right now.”

Stopping in front of a white door Charles opened it as Elesa was met with Jans Joakim himself. Stepping inside the room, the female let a warm smile cross her lips as she gave a bow. “Pleasure to meet you.”

Well this is easy! My first impression of you is pretty recent, after all, since many others in the group seemed to recognize you while I just ???? one more person I missed in my absence from WE haha. I took one look at your writing and immediately realized watching a film probably wouldn't give me as much of a kick. Your narration and characterization are plain fantastic, is what I thought. You're really very talented.

Oh gosh I like Kitty so much... I remember among the admins I was the least familiar with you at first, but when I wrote and chatted a bit with you through Elesa and Ingo and it was just instant LOVE. You're so great, and I hope we can get to know each other even better this year.

My first impression of Tassy was almost a bit... vague, should I say? I only began to speak with you on occasion after the time I wrote Ingo, and I believe recently is the first time we're actually connecting at last. Don't know why it took me so long, but it's a travesty that I didn't get to know you earlier because you give me a cavity for how sweet and considerate and excitable you are! I'm so glad to be threading with you.

[ ♘ ] — Flare doesn't amount to much of her income, so finding other sources of that cold cash is another one of Astryd's pastimes — whether or not she really likes doing such. This month (until she gets fired, that is) it's waiting tables in a rather shady bar in a vibrant part of Lumiose; a corner that smells of distant smoke and blinds occupants with the bright neon. Yet despite the midnight cries — she finds herself at peace. It's one of the more quiet shifts, even in the midst of endless chatter and pounding bass.

There is no ringing, not tonight, in her ears when she can sense something (bad, usually) is about to happen.

“Hey, sweetheart, take this to table nine, yeah?” calls her co-worker from the small window that separates the bar and kitchen. She barely gives him a nod, grabbing the bowl of wedges and making her way to said table. A few teenage girls, not regulars here, though apparently it's not uncommon for young girls to be hiding away in the pining hours of nighttime. High-school graduation, usually, at this time of the year. They don't look old enough for drinks, so it doesn't seem they're having any — but it doesn't stop them from obliging to bar snacks.

“Wedges for the young ladies. Take care tonight, gals, the dogs come out at this hour,” she reminds with concern.

They offer her thanks with a smile, ‘nice girls’, she thinks — grabbing a few empty glasses of what-was coca-cola and ice to the direction of the bar, until she smacks! Straight into someone else who appears to have just flown in quite suddenly, too.
