A couple got engaged during Luceros set tonight. If that's not the most romantic thing, I don't know what is.

I am compelled to do ALL OF THE THINGS! lol
Tim Holder of Fuck Yeah Alt Country Boys (Tumblr): I don't know how you do everything you do with work, freelance, and school full time.
Me: I can't not do it. That's how I do it.
All of the Lucero tattoos my body has seemed to have collected since May 27th 2012.
New Euro Tour Schedule w/ Frank Turner!
This news recently popped up on the Lucero page. Now to start saving for plane tickets. :)
Go easy.
And we'll find our way.
Lucero, "Texas & Tennessee"
California came and took it all.
Ever shuffle your Lucero albums and happen upon one song that describes you in that moment? For example, this one caught me in my tracks this morning. It's from a show at the Majestic this time last year.

You were sixteen When you fell in love All grown up now Once was enough To beat the odds one night forty east At the end of the bar were the boys She orders a drink over the noise As she pays, She sings in time I am so unsatisfied Her lips movin' with the words Her hips swayin' as she turns Away from the bar, out of sight I wish the band would play all night You were sixteen When you fell in love No one told you It won't be enough To beat the odds one night at twenty-two At the end of the bar were the boys She orders a drink over the noise As she pays, she sings in time I am so unsatisfied. Her lips movin' with the words, Her hips swayin' as she turns Away from the bar, out of sight I wish the band would play all night.
Send me a band in my ask, and I’ll tell you:
My favorite album of theirs: Tennessee
My favorite song of theirs: There are so, so, sooooo many, but I will just name one, and that’s “Slow Dancing,” because it’s nostalgic, reminds me of a few “what if” type romantical situations, the only boy I’ve ever slow danced with, and, well, I’ve been told I’m trouble. ;)
My favorite possession relating to them: ALLLL THE THINGS!
If I’ve seen them live, and if so what it was like: I scream, sweat, shout, cry, and laugh. It’s an emotional roller coaster, and I love it. For a long time, a Lucero show was the only place I let myself feel anything.
Why I like them (or even why I dislike them): ALL THE FEELS.
