Koko having people go after you for HIS actions and accusing you of wishing him harm is insane. I have no personal hate towards Koko but, YOU fucked up. YOU take responsibility. Take a break, find your peace, come back, refund and do what you owe. I can understand feeling stressed and upset because of how you're being viewed, but doing what you're doing is not helping you, it's making you look worse. The blog owner is simply reporting what has been shown and seen. It is public knowledge. Do not accuse them of suicide promotion or of interfering with him paying his bills. He made the choice to be dishonest, that's for him to sort out. That is not the blog owner's responsibility. Instead of White Knighting, why don't you help your friend???

No one in this community ever takes accountability. Why do you think I'm even able to run a drama blog? Half of these situations wouldn't spiral the way they do if people could just say, "I was wrong. I'm sorry. Here's how I'm going to fix it." instead of immediately pivoting to explanations about their mental health to avoid addressing what they actually did. Judging by Dani rushing to delete his non-apology after restoring his twitter, I don't exactly have high hopes that much personal growth is going to come from him anytime soon.

Dani, in his own apology, offered refunds to anyone who purchased a design from him. If he genuinely believed there was nothing wrong with what he was doing, he wouldn’t have preemptively offered refunds after being called out. Nobody is obligated to handle a grown adult who scammed people with kid gloves.

He deleted his apology where he offered refunds, the tweet is gone.

Anon, how exactly am I "driving Dani to suicide?" I'm discussing his public conduct on my blog.

Nobody wants Dani to harm himself, and I haven't seen anyone telling them to or even wishing harm on him. What I have seen are people discussing the public allegations that his clients were scammed and his adopt designs are stolen. Something he has a history of doing, so why has the conversation suddenly become whether anyone is allowed to criticize them? Are we being too mean to the scammer by publicly talking about how he publicly scammed people? His public FA has comments left by his clients whom he took money from, is this harassment or "driving Dani to suicide?"

Yes, Dani made a video detailing their mental health issues after being publicly criticized. That is serious, and I hope he gets whatever help he needs. But Dani's mental health is ultimately Dani's responsibility. If they are in crisis, they need to step away from the internet and prioritize getting help until he is well enough to refund his clients. He seems well enough to delete his original apology, leave clients without answers, and immediately start promoting his art fight account, though.

And as I understand it, Dani's own now-deleted statement included admitting to "taking short cuts," by taking other people's character designs and turning them into adopts. This discussion didn't appear out of thin air, Dani's own public actions caused this.

To frame this another way, anon: are the people talking about being scammed by Miorjah "driving them to suicide" by discussing their business practices? No, obviously not.

Koko was just trying to pay his bills and you're literally harassing him over it

Everyone has bills to pay. The artists whose work he stole have bills to pay, the clients he scammed who are still waiting on refunds have bills to pay. Funny how their financial situation isn't taken into consideration, but Dani's is.

Talking about someone's public actions is not harassment. I didn't even make the original callout, that's on twitter. I'm commenting on publicly available posts on my own blog.

It's really a shame that Koko didn't learn his lesson the first time. He's a decent artist, was in a completely different community, seemed to have gathered a decent enough following, especially for a small vtuber. He had every opportunity to be successful, and just had to go back to stealing other people's characters for money. He had the same opportunity in the princessfur community as well. No one ever learns or grows.

I think if Dani came back under a new username, stopped stealing, and actually committed to making original work, he'd probably do just fine. People like original content and seeing artists grow. Frankly, I think a lot of people in this community would be happier and more successful if they just found a fucking hobby outside of obsessing over each other.

Me giggling at Miorjah's comment on the new Koko/Dani PSA because they're still copying, stealing, and using AI to rewrite (poorly) their character profiles.

A thief calling out another thief, poetic really. At least Miorjah getting involved provided further history into Dani's theft. Even when he was in the princessfur community, he didn't just steal from Miorjah.
