Did a lot of “artsy” things today. First, I wanted to wear this skirt I thrifted last year with my boyfriend and I’ve been meaning to get it readjusted ever since I got it but never really found the time to do so (not like I had better things to do) Then Corona happened and I guess I forgot all about it until this afternoon when I was thinking of what I was going to wear for my bday. I remembered buying garters from our local craft store and thought It would be fun to finally learn how to sew. I finished sewing at around 4pm. I’m disappointed and proud at the same time. Disappointed because I expected way too much from myself. I’d like to think I’m a fast learner but I guess even fast learners can’t sew straight all throughout. Proud because I finished it! there’s a lot of visible errors buuuut they’re hideable. (expect a sht ton of pic tomorrow)
After that I went straight to my room and practiced how to color. Remember when I told you how much I was itching to use my coloured pencils? Well, yesterday my mom bought me children’s coloring books lol because the adult ones AREN’T HERE yet and tomorrow is my bday so that suxxx. Anyway, It was very thoughtful of my mom to buy me those coloring books <3 It was funny but heartwarming at the same time. I thought I could use them to practice because the adult coloring books are going to need skills to look presentable at least. My boyfriend challenged me to a color-off (it’s like a dance off but instead you color stuff ugh y am i even explaining this?) and just to make it less embarrassing for him I won’t tell which one I did.
That’s a total of 2 “artsy” things. Not a lot but the effort and time it took me to finish both felt like it was MORE THAN JUST TWO but who’s counting anyway?

I’ve been TRYING to convince myself for a solid month that I can be creative even without smoking but right now I’m sober and I’m struggling to finish this entry. I don’t even know what to do with the short vlog on the making of “the collage” (refer to previous post). That’s why I’ve decided to buy some of that magical green stuff just to spark some incredible ideas that the sober me will finish.

Yesterday we slept at around 4 am and woke up at 2 pm. We decided to postpone our sleep until 8pm tonight (earliest) in a desperate attempt to fix our sleep pattern/schedule or whatever you want to call it. I probably won’t be able to function like a normal human being today given that I’ll be awake for more than 24 hrs :) <- explains the struggle to properly end this post.
Daily entry: Vintage Comics
Welcome to my daily online diary entry/ies where I attempt to express myself through the use of interesting/aesthetically pleasing images. This month’s edition will feature VINTAGE COMICS.
I’ve always wanted to keep a diary but somehow I could never make it a habit to write daily, simply because I found writing boring. So I figured I’d add images/videos that captures the experiences/emotions I go through in my everyday life. I recently found out that besides singing, I was also talented in putting pictures and words together. It’s hard to explain and I also don’t know what it’s called but hopefully you’ll see what I’m talking about as you scroll through my tumblr page. I like to call it “creating” so let’s just stick with that word from now on. I’m bad at explaining and you’ll soon find out that this is only the first apology out of the hundreds I’ll probably say on all my future posts. I also, sometimes, suck at grammar and use of proper punctuation but at the same time I don’t really care so...yeah don’t bother correcting me. Also, there’s just too much on my mind that needs more of my brain’s attention than that.
Anyway, quick story time on how I came up with this month’s theme. I was looking through Pinterest for pictures I’d include in the collage I’m making for my tumblr page’s background (I have a separate post regarding this. read The making: Background choices). Then I saw these gorgeous digital pop art. I was going to make another collage that was made up entirely of the crying girls pop art (used mostly as a design for graphic tees) but It had such a sad vibe to it despite the bright color palette so I decided to look for images that had the same colors but less of the crying??? i also dont know. Enters vintage comics. The dialogues were way too relatable and I figured I’d only ruin them if I jammed them all in to one picture so I decided to use it for the purpose of expressing myself especially at times when I can’t seem to find the words.
