What did you think about Malia physically hurting that nurse who was just standing there doing his job and not having any consequences after? It personally left a bad taste in my mouth.

Jenn, I 100% agree with you. I actually really hated that part... I felt like it was in bad taste. It was overkill. I didn’t find it funny.

I've been thinking that the "note" Lydia is actually a piece of the drywall where Stiles door used to be. Lydia probably goes to try to find him or a clue on how to help him and she notices that everything of his is gone, including where his room used to be and she see's part of the wall peeling off and rips it off and that's when she loses it and starts to cry. And then later the sheriff notices the gaping hole in his wall and that's how he discovers Stiles' room.

Interesting! Definitely a possibility, it does look more like... parchment? Than a piece of paper that she would have, like notebook people. Which has been weirding me out.

You're right about Stiles, that the best parts of him have vanished. But I always have hope that if and when Lydia were to confess her feelings for Stiles, that Stiles would find a whole new purpose in life and that would be what could give us glimpses of the old Stiles back. He wouldn't be the same Stiles (who can recover from all that?), but he'd be back on track to being filled with happiness and that happiness would shine through in many different ways. That's my hope at least.

I don’t know if “whole new purpose in life” is the way I would put it… just because that seems way too dependant on one human being. 

But I can see Stiles repairing his friendship with Scott and hearing that Lydia cares about him romantically and being like “woah, okay.” I can seeing him taking a step back and understanding that he’s been wrong. Going back and realizing that there’s stuff to live for, that there’s people who care about him and find worth in him regardless of all the shit he’s done. And then making an active effort to go back to the person who he more naturally is. 

I think happiness can bring him back little by little, a long as he pulls his head out of his ass and lets himself talk to people again. Lets himself realize that he isn’t alone, or broken.
