Hii I’m Debi 👋 (@debihasky on IG & FB) I haven’t been on tumblr in quite some time and I’ve seen some new faces around here so I feel like I should re-introduce myself! ☺️ 

I’m a Panameña-American illustrator, artist and model (signed with @modeltalking) currently living in Barcelona 🌞 

A few things I love are making comics, talking and writing about my feelings, collaborating with people, reading books, embroidering, drawing, painting and my partner Moi 👫 Some of my fav shows are @tucaandbertie @adventuretime @bojackhorseman (I love cartoons lol) and @nbcparksandrec 📺 I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and was recently diagnosed with autoimmune disorder called Hashimotos Thyroiditis, which has made this whole situation with the virus a bit more complicated and something I’m learning to live with 🙈

Lately, I’ve been listening to @best_coast, @ mitski, @chazzybelt, @frankiecombos, @firstaidkitband, @lizzobeeating and @megan.thee.stallion 🎵

 I also LOVE podcasts, some of my favorites are @armchairexppod, @npr’s Up First, @racechaserpod, @carnecruda, @nytimes Still Processing, @andyjpizza’s Creative Pep Talk, @rebelscreate and @hpsacredtext 🎙✨

Most of you have probably found me through my #CallOutCatCalls series which is still making it’s way around here and that’s so cool to see 💛My drawings and comics stem from my own personal experiences and am inspired by daily life, thoughts, feelings and conversations 🌻 

The way I see it, it feels kind of like every illustration takes a little part of me with them as I draw them 😌✏️💕

Sometimes it's hard being positive, sometimes it's hard being strong, and it's okay to admit: I'M FUCKING INSECURE. A lot of my work consists of sassy, strong, female characters... parts of me that I draw to remind myself that I'm strong and powerful and beautiful, and that you are too! But lately it's been really hard to channel that positive mentality with so many doubts and insecurities running through my head, and I have to remember that it's okay to not be okay. 😔

Beth Ditto was singer-songwriter for the band GOSSIP, but now she is starting as solo career and just recently released an amazing plus-size fashion line. With this line, she is showing that fat women are not only beautiful, but deserving of high fashion, and that is so badass. ** Beth Ditto fue la cantante y compositora de la banda GOSSIP, pero ahora a decidido salir con un disco como solista y recientemente debutó una increíble línea de moda de tallas grandes. Con esta línea, ella está demostrando que las mujeres gordas no sólo son bellas, pero merecen ropa de alta costura, y eso es súper badass.

#‎BadassBabe‬ Zendaya is a 19 year old actress, singer, and activist. She often speaks out about racism and social injustices, using her voice to call out things she feels are not just. Like Amandla Stenberg, Zendaya also addresses important issues within the african american community, such as cultural appropriation and being proud of wherever you come from. ** #BadassBabe Zendaya es una actriz, cantante y activista a solo 19 años. Ella habla sobre el racismo y las injusticias sociales, usando su voz para llamar atención a cosas que ella siente no son correctas. Como Amandla Stenberg, Zendaya también utiliza su fama como plataforma para hablar de temas importantes dentro de la comunidad afroamericana, como la apropiación cultural y la importancia del ser orgulloso de dónde uno viene.
