On September 2018, Dr Christine Blasey Ford sat before a US Senate Committee hearing that was held to explore her charge that Brett Kavanuagh was at the time nominated for a lifetime appointment to the US Supreme Court, attempted to sexually assault her at a party when they were in high school. Like other survivors who spoken out and accused a political candidate, Dr Ford was supported by one party, but was smear by the other. Many believe that it was weird that Dr Ford decided to speak out about the allegations when Kavanuagh was nominated Supreme Court Judge, how many people have had their doubts on Kavanuagh from his views on Abortion to the sexual assault allegations against him, not mention the fact that Donald Trump was the one who hired him, a man who sexually assaulted 19 women, raped his first wife and also raped an underage girl. During the testimony, Dr Ford answered all her questions, while Kavanuagh answered only some.
There are evidence to back up the claim that Kavanuagh wasn’t the perfect student as claim to be, Ford says she can’t remember which party did the incident took place. One thing I learned about is not every sexual assault story is going to be perfect, when we tell a story to a person that happened years ago, we only know bits and pieces unless you have a photogenic memory. However when it comes to stories like Dr Ford, the only main things that are accurate is the location, the assault and the perpetrator. The calendar that appeared during the testimony can help Dr Ford. In the month of July, Kavanuagh had a busy schedule on that month from the looks of it. On July 1st, Kavanuagh notes plans to go to “Timmy’s for skis with Judge. Tom, P.J, Bernie and... Squi.” “Skis” is short for brewskies or beer. In Dr Ford’s story, she said that that Mark Judge, PJ Smyth and a friend named Leland Kayser were all present during a gathering where she was assaulted. She says they were drinking beer and that Judge and Kavanuagh were “stumbling drunk”. She also notes that it appeared to be a smaller get-together that took place ahead of a larger party. All of these descriptions roughly match up with Kavanuagh’s own testimony regarding that July 1 evening, where he grabbed beers with a select group of friends. Sixty-five women have come foward to Kavanaugh's defense by signing a letter rallying behind high court nominee and their high school friend (Kavanaugh) as someone who "has always treated women decency and respect" and they signed up, whether they anticipated or not, for become a scrutiny themselves. However Kavanaugh attended Jesuit High School which is an all-boy school. So how do these 65 women knew who Kavanaugh was like even though, they didn't go to the same school as they claimed. The only time Kavanuagh would have hang out with these 65 women is during school events or parties. There was a video that got leaked to the public back in 2015, Kavanaugh made a "joke" that many people become suspicious. He said "what happens at Georgetown Perp, stays at Georgetown Perp". Whether you can argue this as a joke or him admitting to the sexual assualt, it's still odd that he chose these specific words to say. It's possible something bad happened in Georgetown Perp that he isn't telling us. It's been reported Kavanaugh doesn't want the FBI involved in the sexual assualt allegations against him, which makes him a bit guilty. A letter on Facebook was posted from a women who knew Kavanaugh, Judge and Basely Ford and claims the attack did happen, that "many of us heard about it in school" and that it was talk about for days afterward.
Christine Blasey Ford wasn’t the only woman that Brett Kavanuagh assaulted. A former classmate of Kavanuagh named Deborah Ramirez claimed that Kavanuagh expose himself to her during a party which they were in college together. A classmate of Ramirez said he was 100% sure that another student told him about the incident after it happened, independently recalling several of the same details. Another former student, Richard Oh also recalled hearing about the incident. A female former classmate of Ford said on twitter that everyone at school was talking about the incident between Ford and Kavanuagh.
Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez have been discredited, smear and had to move four times because of death threats, not only was Ford getting death threats but her family was as well. However, they somehow manage to stay strong through it all.
