Helping the War Injured

An initially interesting read and I did learn a lot about what was damaged and how the general populace still felt about Jews despite the War.  However, I got bogged down about half-way through as it really slowed down and nothing – or very little – happened. I found myself wishing for some action.

I thought the characters were well and sympathetically described, but overall didn’t quite keep up my interest as to their final fate.

2 March releases to look forward to, peeps! . The Impossible Story of Olive in Love by Tonya Alexandra (this is an uncorrected proof so actual book cover is very different but I totes prefer this cover!). I wanted to read this contemporary YA book as soon as I read this line in the blurb; "Plagued by a gypsy curse that she'll be invisible to all but get true love..." 🙃 Thanks, @harlequinaus 😙 oh & those mints!!! OMG divine! . Ambulance Girls by Deborah Burrows is historical fiction set in WWII.
