NORWAY: Monster like me - Morland and Debrah Scarlat

I am a fan of Norwegian entries so it is not surprise that Norway is sitting in my top 5. This year, they had an exquisite entry that was beguiling, modern, moody, delicious and intense. Morland and Debrah are interesting and in character while retaining the mystery of what did they do that was so terrible? They chose to use a simple stage of darkness and light and it worked well. 

I have a very small problem with it though and it is in their costuming. It was very casual, and I think I say this because the preview clip is so formal. I think they wanted to portray Debrah as pure in the scenario and Morland as the villain. All in all it is such a minor thing. I still love this song, and now I want them to record an album.

Rehearsal #2 - Norway.

I love this year’s Norwegian entry possibly more than any other song in the contest. Both Morland and Debrah sing wonderfully and there is a very ordinary background in order for the song to be the highlight. Watching it now, I am not sure about anything in regards to it though. I would prefer if they were not wearing white.
