I got to spend the morning with TJ and Rachel for a church event. It is a rare thing these days to be minus kids when we are all together. A very welcomed break with lots of laughing. ❤️

Matt surprised me by getting all the decorations up with the kids while I was gone. Next item on the Christmas agenda is lights on the actual house (per Maddie’s request).

The kids got the golden bell at World Market last night. They both got to spend $12 on whatever they wanted with the reward money. Maddie picked out a hamburger glass ornament to hang on the tree. She is a girl after my own heart.

The whole advent calendar thing is going to be a fun one for us this year. The kids are at the perfect age to actually be excited about it. Great motivation to finish their dinner without complaining!

We are definitely starting to feel the holiday spirit around here. Excited for a month that will hopefully go by slowly so we can just soak in all the family time this season brings!
