These delicious cookies combine the rich and decadent flavors of double chocolate with the sweetness of dulce de leche.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1/4 cup dulce de leche. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 large egg. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup white chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the dulce de leche, vanilla extract, and egg to the butter mixture. Mix until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges but slightly soft in the center. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookies are completely cooled, drizzle some additional dulce de leche over the top for extra flavor and decoration. Enjoy these delicious double chocolate dulce de leche cookies!
