dec 1. told my students their state exams were 30 questions now and that they only had to write 1 essay. their excitement was hilarious. also: dinner and snuggles with my boyfriend. 

dec 2. blew a kid’s mind explaining expository essays and used a model text in a cool new way.

My friend Tim and I pre- and post-shaving today.  November is over, and Tim's finally back in town (I had to go a whole extra day with that nastiness upon my face!) and so we shaved this afternoon.  Single blade razor, 1906, mixing our own shaving lather, smelling like old men...I love it :)
