Yep. Same. I’m just laying here, eating chocolate, wondering if I can pretend hard enough that none of this happened and that today was just a day when Fitz came back (YAY) and Dizzie may be going to the theatre.

I did just rewatch the Gigi video (while eating chocolate!) and it did make me feel a lot better. I highly recommend this prescription for the "This Plotline is So Contrived (But Also Breaks My Heart Because I Am So Invested In It)" Blues.

I would imagine that Lizzie has a phone in her house sitting place? But some people don’t have landlines anymore. But email? Twitter? SEMOPHORE!?

Also Lizzie’s video would have had to have been filmed yesterday or today so the phone thing could be happening now for legit. But Charlotte will get her tonight? IDEK.

Yeah, I figure we'll see Lizzie getting Charlotte's call (or more dramatically: Gigi running in because SHE got Charlotte's call) (or MOST DRAMATICALLY: Charlotte herself arriving) (maybe when Darcy has just asked her to the theater and she has just agreed?) in the video tomorrow because it would be being filmed now, so obviously Charlotte won't take two whole days to reach Lizzie, but still her trying repeatedly on Twitter to reach out to Lizzie (whose PHONE IS BROKEN and in any case who would respond to the first tweet as soon as she saw it) instead of... like... once? Before calling the Pemberley front desk and being redirected to someone who could get her in touch with Lizzie or even (her business associate and social acquaintance) Darcy? It sits wrong. Maybe because I used to work as a receptionist and had to do a lot of running around finding people who weren't at their desks when they had emergency calls from their friends or family.

I was a pretty bad receptionist. I don't believe the Pemberley receptionists could be worse.

And if not that (what kind of weird office doesn't have individual land lines but okay I'll bite), then yes, there is also: e-mail.

Or semophore (lol).

Or even TELEGRAM.
