also! still need to make a custom skin & outfit but i'm excited about her so here's the newest addition to the Deception Simception fam, Millennia from Kagero: Deception II!
I haven't played this installment of the series (yet) but she's in Velguirie's quest in Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess. I decided to stay truer to her appearance in II though (why change her eyes to blue? don't like that, esp as someone with brown eyes myself)
did watch a LP of II and damn is it dark. I knew the previous games don't have IV's humor and innuendos - and I appreciate both styles - but I was unprepared. media can hit me hard emotionally so I was a bit depressed afterwards and couldn't stop thinking about her 😭Laegrinna at least gets one 100% positive ending in IV. the closest one Millennia gets has some... unfortunate implications (yikes @ Tecmo in 1998, couldn't you at least explain?) . I'm the "I must protect her at all costs" kind of blorbo haver so she gets a better chance at life in Chaos Chasm.
the Deception II soundtrack cover art inspired me to give her the Dummy Thicc shape, I mean I took some liberties with IV's characters anyway and I love DT so why not? 😄
(and a fun fact: due to a certain canon plot detail, sim!Millennia has an irrational hatred of clowns)
