Top 5 tropes you love the most!

wheeeeeeeeew so many tropes are so good and now i need to fight myself to keep from just screaming about my favourite ship-related tropes because that’s where my mind goes right away. BUT LET’S FOCUS ON THE #1 ONE BECAUSE:

FOUND FAMILYYYYYY. i have cried more over characters declaring themselves family than anything else, and my most memorable moments in most video games tend to be thanks to this one! (like oghren’s speech at the denerim gates in DA1, wrex’s speech after curing the genophage in ME3, just....the team in the outer worlds, etc.) it all makes me emotionaaaal  

enemies-to-lovers/the “dating catwoman” trope bc i’m garbage trash but at least i know what i’m about :’)

i mentioned this in my ob question, but the “enemy mine”/”teeth-clenched teamwork” trope is just SO good. i love watching people who loathe each other being forced to work together/protect one another, and seeing the awkward fallout from that once whatever issue that they needed to team up for is resolved. what are they after that? do they go back to fighting? do they become weird friends? do they kiss, thus leading up to my #2 there? the possibilities are endless! 

fake. dating. especially when there’s either an additional case of mutual pining to begin with OR the two characters are just in really loud denial of their mutual attraction. you just sit there going “oho you fools” as they loudly talk about how much they are gonna hate having to kiss each other, because you know better. it’s the best :’) 

extended disarming! that trope where a character is asked to hand over their weapons and they just take like a solid two minutes to hand over everything, and they they’re like “OH! I ALMOST FORGOT!” and they pull out a knife in their boot or something? or they try to sneak it in and someone else is like “all your weapons”, so they have to hand it over as well? that’s good stuff.

Hey so I'm looking to watch a series with Greg Bryk in it, is Bitten a good place to start? Are there older series where he's a recurring character? Asking bc I just love watching him do his acting thing and you have a library of Greg content :v

Bitten is an amazing ways to start! If you get the hang of him, shows like Frontier, Jett and Caught are other great and recent shows to watch. I also love Building Bryks but the show is hard to find. Other shows would be Channel Zero, The Handmaid’s Tale and Mary Kills People. Older shows are XIII or ReGenesis. I am not sure which shows are on Netflix, Amazon or others because the european Netflix is different from the other ones concerning which shows are on it. But Bitten is on it for sure and Frontier too! I hope you will have a great time watching his shows! :D

Let me start off by saying I love the (yet) and I await your descent if/when it happens.

I’m seeing the dynamic and I’m also intrigued. Even though Connor wouldn’t put up with Gavin’s shit, RK900 is even less likely to do so, keeping that little asshole in check and in line on a daily basis. Gavin could use something like that in his life. This just might grow on me, rip.

arrow: how much does your happiness depend on your relationships with others?Quite a bit if I’m close to them actually. Like I can still function but if I haven’t at least talked a little bit to a person I just feel kinda sad cause part of me misses that communication.date: do you think age differences are a big deal?Depends on the type of age difference we’re talking about here. Like minor and adult that’s a big fucking no, do not do it. If it’s only a within a few years or both parties met and got together while already full grown adults I don’t see much of a problem.
