I feel like there is a curse on my mom because recently every single thing she tries to cook or bake just fails. Massively. Maybe it's our oven that needs replacing but nonetheless, I really admire how she keeps trying even though she fails every single time... No cynicism either. I asked for a carrot cake and it turned out terrible and she felt bad about it so right now she's out there in the kitchen still trying to make something for me. Like oh my god I love her so much.
