10 with Chiyuki and Decim for that drabble thing? AU?
10. “Teach me how to play?”
hello death parade feels good to know you’re still going strong.
Quindecim was the sort of name of a place that movie stars and celebrities gathered. Instead, it was a hole in the wall cofeeshop, populated mostly by college kids and those looking for a quiet place to rest. It was in the early afternoon, the bar empty save for the barista behind it, idly cleaning and reorganizing the counter of mixes and powders and a black haired woman, stirring her coffee with a long handled spoon.
“Hey, Decim?”
He made a sound of acknowledgement, glancing in her direction “Yes Miss Chiyuki?”
“Do you play.” a single raised eyebrow and she carried on “the piano over there I mean. The one you have that creepy mannequin on to discourage others from playing.”
Decim set the rag down and glanced over to the piano set on a small stage.
“I do occasionally, why do you ask?”
She set her spoon down on the saucer and stood up from the barstool, leaning over the short counter and smiling that smile that made his heart beat a little faster.
“Teach me to play?”
His hands were behind his back to remove the black apron and set it on the counter, smiling back as he came around to the other side, offering her his hand to cross the short distance.
“It would be an honor, Miss Chiyuki.”
