Gives nose/forehead kisses: Chriiiiiiis. Always with the forehead kisses.
Gets jealous the most: Chris would believe he was too mature for that kind of thing, but every once in a while it would sneak up on him and remind him exactly how far gone he is with this boy.
Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Chris would be woken up at midnight by a text from Haruichi asking him to please come pick up Eijun, who probably gets sick on the sidewalk when Chris shows up to take him home, poor baby.
Takes care of on sick days: Both. Eijun gets kind of needy when he’s sick, and Chris manages to be caring and no-nonsense at once. When Chris gets sick he usually prefers to be left alone, but Eijun insists on making him soup and checking in on him every five minutes.
Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Eijun is having so much fun that Chris finally gives in, even though he ends up ruining his hair. :p
Gives unprompted massages: Eijun is always quick to offer his services when Chris has had a rough day.
Drives/rides shotgun: Chris drives because Eijun has no idea where he’s going.
Brings the other lunch at work: Eijun likes to surprise Chris.
Has the better parental relationship: Both.
Tries to start role-playing in bed: Eijun! He suggests things and starts laughing and Chris is like, “…”
Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Eijun!
Still cries watching Titanic: EIJUUUUN. Chris sighs every time he sees Eijun watching a sappy movie because he knows Eijun will be crying on his shoulder when he gets to the sad parts. Same when Eijun reads sad mangas.
Firmly believes in couples costumes: Eijun, lol. Chris refuses all of the ridiculous suggestions until he finally gets tired and gives in to something that’s only slightly embarrassing, and he spends all night making his stoic, blushing “no this was not my idea” face.
Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Eijun, out of an impulsive desire to make Chris happy.
Makes the other eat breakfast: Both! But mostly Chris.
Remembers anniversaries: Both. Eijun tends to forget dates and birthdays, but he remembers their anniversary because it’s Chris. Chris has a good memory for these things.
Brings up having kids: Chris keeps his desire for kids shoved deep down inside. Eijun doesn’t think about it until he’s older and one of their friends has a baby, and he realizes that he would like to have a kid but thinks that Chris doesn’t want kids or else he would have already mentioned it. But he ends up blurting it out anyway.
message: I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, Cas! Stay warm, be happy, and don’t stop smiling! I hope you have an amazing winter break!
Pairing: Sanada Shunpei/Todoroki Raichi
Stars filled the clear, cloudless skies that night as the moonlight shined down on the snow covered grounds below.
Todoroki Raichi was on his bed, sound asleep and hidden beneath the warm covers that were blocking out the frosty winter air, when the door to his room slowly creaked open and a figure stepped in.
The figure, upon seeing the sleeping boy, let out a soft chuckle as they made their way over to the bed and sat down on the edge. The figure then reached over, grabbing onto the boy’s shoulder, and began shaking him gently in an attempt to wake him up.
“Raichi. Hey Raichi.” A soft voice began to say. “Wake up, Raichi!”
Raichi groaned, turning away from the voice as he pulled the covers further over his head. “Five more minutes…” he mumbled.
The figure rolled their eyes before continuing to shake the poor boy awake from his slumber. “Raichi wake up!” The voice called once again.
Raichi groaned once more, before slowly peeling his eyes open and tiredly glancing around him in slight confusion. Turning over on his bed, he then came face to face with none other than his teammate, and boyfriend, Sanada Shunpei.
“Sanada-senpai…?” Raichi muttered as he slowly lifted himself up onto his elbow and began rubbing the sleep away from his eyes with his other hand.
“Morning sleepy-head.” Sanada replied with a smile as he placed a chaste kiss on Raichi’s lips.
Raichi smiled happily as he stretched his arms high above his head, before bringing them down and coiling his arms around Sanada’s waist and cuddling into the taller boy’s side.
Sanada chuckled as he tenderly ran his fingers through Raichi’s hair, an action that the other boy was quite fond of, he discovered. “Come on Raichi get up, stop going back to sleep.” Sanada said. “Don’t want to be late for our date, now do we?”
Raichi sighed before detaching himself from Sanada and slowly crawling out of bed. He then pulled on a Christmas themed jumper that he had received from Sanada at some point during the month of December, and then pulled on his jacket and earmuffs.
Now bundled up and ready to go, Raichi glanced at Sanada, who had now stood up from the bed, and had grabbed a hold of Raichi’s hand and led him out of the house and onto the frosty streets.
The two walked for some time, talking about everything and nothing at all, earning sweet smiles from one another, and occasionally stealing kisses, before they had finally reached their destination.
It was a cute, cozy little restaurant, with warm amber lights pouring out from the window and lovely Christmas ornaments decorating the inside and outside of the shop. Sanada held the door open for Raichi and led him inside, before sitting down at a table in a private room reserved specifically for them.
“Order anything you want, Raichi, I’ll pay.” Sanada said. The most adorable smile spread across Raichi’s face upon hearing those words, and he hastily picked up his menu and began to scan the dishes that the restaurant offered.
After ordering, the two began to patiently wait for their food to arrive. Raichi was rocking in his seat from side to side, happily humming about tonkatsu as Sanada watched in amusement.
“Raichi.” Sanada called, catching the attention of the younger. Raichi tilted his head and gazed at Sanada questioningly, and watched as Sanada gently reached over and held his hand and began to play with his fingers, a habit of Sanada’s that Raichi had noticed throughout the months that they had been dating.
Sanada then brought Raichi’s hand to his lips and placed a chaste kiss on his knuckles, his eyes then flicking up so that they connected with Raichi’s. “I love you, Raichi.” Sanada said softly, a loving smile adorning his lips.
A soft pink began to dust the younger’s cheeks as small, nervous kahahaha’s left his mouth, before replying in a soft voice with an ‘I love you’ of his own.
After dinner, the two had left the restaurant and walked back home hand in hand under the star filled sky.
“S-Sanada-senpai…” Raichi began to say as he slowed to a stop. Sanada stopped in his tracks, glancing over his shoulder at Raichi, before turning his body around to face the boy completely.
“Hmm?” Sanada hummed questioningly.
Stepping closer, Raichi grabbed onto the front of Sanada’s coat and leaned up, standing on his tiptoes to do so, before pressing a kiss to his lips.
Pulling away, Raichi’s cheeks flushed a deep red as he shyly glanced up at Sanada. “M-Merry Christmas S-Sanada-senpai.” He said.
Sanada smiled an endearing smile as he embraced Raichi, burying his face into Raichi’s hair. “Merry Christmas to you too, Raichi.” Sanada replied.
message: I hope you had a great holiday and enjoy my present! I had a lot of fun writing this so thank you a bunch!
Summary: Life Coach Kuramochi to the rescue.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Kuramochi drawled.
He had seen Sawamura do some pretty stupid things, but this one—this one looked like it could back fire on him and not in the fun way. Sawamura was stretched out on the floor. Wrapping paper littered everywhere, scissors in places that would bring shame to any kindergarten teacher, tape holding things together that were in no danger of falling apart, and a letter in envelope that said To Chris-Senpai Love Eijun. A letter that could only spell out trouble for his obviously inept roommate.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Sawamura replied while humming a Christmas tune.
“Being stupid as hell, Why on earth would you decide to give Chris-Senpai enough coffee to last him though the apocalypse?” Kuramochi snapped while playing hopscotch to his bed—god this kid could be so messy, it was like living with a dog.
Sawamura turned his head, nose scrunched, and eyes narrowed, “Because he likes coffee,” He said not even hiding his very apparent judgment.
Kuramochi rolled his eyes to the heavens in hopes to reach a higher power. He had no doubts that Sawamura was doing this with best intentions, most things the kid did was with the best intentions. Unfortunately he also knew that such a gift would probably raise the final flag for Chris to realize that Sawamura had a great big dumb crush on him. Not that Sawamura did a good job of hiding it—following him to eat every day? So smooth. Offering massages for Chris’s shoulder? What a caring teammate. Stalking him to the bath? The very definition of subtle. He wore his heart on his sleeve, his face and every pitch he ever through—and this letter could be dangerous.
He was surprised that this wasn’t the talk of the team, but who knows? Maybe everyone else was just as dumb when it came to social situations as Sawamura. Maybe they all had put it on the list of weird things that Sawamura does when there is someone he respects. Kuramochi knew better, Sawamura respected everyone on the team, 1st strings 2nd strings 3rd strings and the managers, and he did not under any circumstance follow them to the bath.
“How do you even know he likes coffee?” Kuramochi said and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Because he drinks it every morning when he wakes up in his room,” Sawamura said and let a silent duh ring through the room. Of course, why shouldn’t Sawamura know Chris’s morning routine? That clearly wasn’t weird at all, or creepy.
“I’m not even gonna ask how you know that.”
Sawamura gave him a blinding smile that probably was meant to say gosh I am so smart and sneaky, but to Kuramochi it only read I’m such a dumbass please help me. Why couldn’t Kuramochi get a smart and simple roommate? Literally dozens of kids game to Seido and he got saddle with the one that was most likely to poke a sleeping bear. He shook his head in disappointment and picked up an old baseball magazine to leaf through.
“Hey I didn’t do anything weird this time,” Sawamura said indignantly.
“Of course,” Kuramochi said dryly.
“Seriously! Besides it’s not like he’s gonna really know what it means,” Sawamura said brightly.
“I think the ‘Love Eijun’ is a pretty big indicator of your super-secret crush,” He pointed out and turned a page flippantly.
“No it doesn’t, it clearly—GUH How do you even know!” He shouted out, face turning an alarming shade of red.
“Is this a real question?” Kuramochi asked.
“Ack! Whatever it’s not like anyone else knows” He said angrily.
Oh God, he really was a dumb child.
“Well, I don’t think you wrong, but just don’t think you have this entirely under wraps,” Kuramochi said voice straining to not give away his utter disbelief at Sawamura thinking he was playing it cool with Chris.
If this was cool he could only wonder what Sawamura would do if he was ‘actively’ attempting to get Chris’s attetion.
“Besides, you always get presents for the people you like? Aren’t you getting a present for Miyuki-senpai?” Sawamura asked indignantly
“Why, would I get a present for that shitty bastard?”
“Because aren’t you…”
Kuramochi could see the word forming at the tip of his tong, the word that describe them in way that he had not uttered to anyone. If Sawamura knew what was good for him he would swallow it, and lock it away. If he did not he would text Miyuki of Sawamura’s crush and then it would be sadly out of his hands if the whole school knew by the next day.
“The two of you are…uh…”
Kuramochi’s glare intensified as Sawamura seemed to start to sweat and shrink against his gaze.
“Close.”
Someone give the kid a prize, Sawamura actually showed some self-restraint. Kuramochi should write this day down, tell Masuko-senpai when he returns of their youngest roommate’s new ability to contain himself.
Kuramochi was only moderately horrified that Sawamura was able to piece that together and extremely scared he would say something to Miyuki. He wasn’t exactly sure what would happen to them if God forbid they have label, but he was pretty sure that Miyuki would explode in some unknown way.
Miyuki was like a bomb, press the wrong button, or cut the wrong wire and the effects could be disastrous. Say something that made him sound too close and Kuramochi would suddenly be experiencing the cold shoulder and incredulous looks when asked what was wrong. If he implied that they weren’t that close snarky comments and missing things were bound to happen. If he said he was indifferent well then he might as well have said he loved him and that was dangerous because then he knew that Kuramochi was placating him in some way and that was even worse.
Public displays of affection were practically declarations of war, but not when it was just the two of them and if he denied him there, then Kuramochi was better off punching himself in the face. There was a fine line that he walked by being with Miyuki. He was the kind of guy that prided himself because he actually enjoyed being alone and absolutely abhorred thought of needing something, but relished in the thought of people needing him. Sometimes Kuramochi thought about punching him just as much as kissing him, and vaguely wondered if most people put this much effort in a relationship.
“So are you?” Sawamura peeped out.
Never mind he didn’t really have any self-restraint at all.
“What would I even give him?”Kuramochi barked.
“I don’t know a new personality?” Sawamura said.
“Wow.”
“A better fashion sense?”
“Would you ever say this to his face?”
“Probably not.”
Kuramochi rolled his eyes—God he was an idiot. He was terrified that Sawamura’s idiot germs would rub off on him.
“How about…uh…I already said new personality didn’t I?”Sawamura questioned.
“Yeah.”
“Oh. This is harder than expected,” Sawamura said and used too much tape on the wrapping paper, “Well he’s getting you a present.”
Time seemed to stand still for a moment, and Kuramochi suddenly found he was sweating, “You’re kidding me right?”
“What? No! I totally saw it when I was asking him to catch for me, he crammed it in his locker and told me not be such noisy idiot—the combination could apparently get me killed.” Sawamura lamented while puffing out his cheeks.
Oh man, Kuramochi was in trouble, deep trouble. It’s not like he didn’t have a gift for Miyuki, he in fact always got him a gift despite knowing if he actually gave it to him it would be symbol of commitment. A symbol that usually warded Miyuki off. If he really was getting a gift he would only have to pull a random gift from the box, but this would be a first for Miyuki. Most likely a dangerous choice on his part that made Kuramochi face heat up and heart speed up a million miles per minute.
“Well…He’d most likely like anything you give him even if he was an asshole about it,” Sawamura murmured gingerly picking up more wrapping paper.
“Whatever, you idiot,” Kuramochi said while jerking his ahead, who gave Sawamura the right to say such corny things? Regardless he couldn’t stop smiling.
“Your wrapping is a atrocious,” Kuramochi jabbed.
“I’d like to see you do a better job!” Sawamura shouted, fist raised in a menacing fashion.
“Don’t talk to me like that!” Kuramochi shouted and leapt from his bed to grab the little idiot in a chokehold.
“Gwah! Let go!”
“Not until you apologize! How do you not know how to treat your seniors?”
“Fine! I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” Sawamura begged—as he should—and Kuramochi released him.
Kuramochi picked up the roll of wrapping paper, politely ignoring the stupid design, and gathered the other necessary supplies. He took off the ugly heap of wrapping paper off of the coffee set and tossed Sawamura a disgusted look.
“How do you think Chris-senpai could like something wrapped up so ugly?”
“What are you doing? Do you know how long that took me!” He snapped arms flailing forward only falling short because of Kuramochi hand holding his head.
“Fixing it, you dumbass,” He snapped.
“There is nothing to fix!” Sawamura pleaded.
“Are being serious?” Kuramochi said, eyes narrowing in disbelief.
After many punches, eye rolling and angry comments the gifts for Chris was finally wrapped to a picture perfect quality. Kuramochi’s talents even blew him away, but he had to thank his mom for sitting with him as he wrapped their own Christmas presents.
“It’s perfect,” Sawamura gushed.
“Now,” Kuramochi said taking the letter and bopping Sawamura in the head with it, “Be careful with what you say. Chris is…”
“What?”
Might break your heart? Kuramochi didn’t know what say he just knew he didn’t want Sawamura to be bitterly heart broken, but at the same time Chris could easily put a stop to this if he wanted to right?
“Very serious,” He decided.
“Oh my god,” Sawamura said rolling his eyes and getting up, “I’m going to bed.”
“I’m looking out for you, you idiot!” Kuramochi snapped and punched him.
“Stop hitting me! I want to go to bed,” Sawamura shouted holding his head.
Kuramochi groaned and rolled his eyes, nice, Sawamura leave him to clean up all of this trash. He watched him jumped into bed and Kuramochi got rid of the trash. Was Miyuki getting him a gift? He looked over to the drawer that held all the potential gifts for Miyuki.
“I would get him a glasses case,” Kuramochi said and climbed into bed.
“What?”
“A glasses case, he always puts his regular glasses in his locker without protection,” Kuramochi explained.
“Wow, how’d you learn that? Stalk him?” Sawamura groaned.
“Are kidding me? Look who’s talking you asshole!” Kuramochi shouted.
