I just did my 4th T shot this morning, and I figured I'd make a post to share some of the changes I've noticed so far!

I'm doing subcutaneous injections into the abdomen. I primarily inject on my right hand side. I started at a very low dose, but it was increased last week. Details of changes under the cut since there's a lot.

Bottom growth/sensitivity

The first change I noticed was increased sensitivity in the lower area. While I haven't noticed any growth visually, I also wasn't measuring or even really looking at the area pre-T due to dysphoria. I was only a few days into T when I started noticing some occasional discomfort from friction against the fabric and seams. About 2.5 weeks in, that sensitivity caused more discomfort. I then learned that bottom growth means needing to take extra care to clean underneath the skin downstairs, and that's helped alleviate some of the discomfort. However, I do still need to go to the restroom to readjust my clothes sometimes when things shift to have a seam right on there.

Menstrual cycle

For reference, I had a very regular cycle pre-T. It was like clockwork. I had light-to-moderate bleeding and little-to-no cramping.

Body hair

It's been well over a week since I was "supposed" to have my last period, and I haven’t even had any PMS symptoms. Obviously, it's too early to say if my periods have actually stopped, but there's definitely something changing.

For reference, I was already pretty hairy. I also have dark hair, so it's probably easier for me to see the hair grow in than for someone with lighter hair.

Within two weeks, I had already noticed an increase in hair on my stomach. Around that time, I noticed that the patches by my knees had started to grow thicker, darker hair (that was the one area of my legs that wasn't already very hairy).

As for my chest, the only dark hairs I had pre-T were the nipple hairs. When I showered yesterday, I noticed a few dark hairs on the right side of my chest, and there seemed to be a little bit of dark hair on the sternum.

Facial hair

Pre-T, I had semi-dense hair on my chin and in the sideburn area. I had a few dark hairs in the mustache area, but it was mostly light hair, and I would dye it on occasion. I also had dense hair in the neckbeard area except for a bald patch that was essentially a vertical strip down the middle.

My mustache is getting darker, enough so that my friends have started to notice. The neckbeard area is growing back faster between shaves; I used to get away with shaving weekly, but now it's every other day. The bald patch is also getting smaller.

Misc

I got a cold about 2 weeks into T, and I swear this was the most intense cold I've ever had. I had to take extra strength mucinex and do nasal sprays multiple times a day. I've never had to do any of that, so I guess I get man colds now lmao

After I got through my cold, my appetite returned way stronger than before. I'm genuinely so hungry all the time now, so that part of puberty is going exactly as expected, just a bit sooner than I thought it would be.

It's national boyfriend day which means I can talk about my boyfriend!!!!!

He's so sweet and handsome and pretty and cute and I wanna shake him as hard as I can

He makes me feel so safe and loved and I just wish he could be out irl because I want to show him off to everyone as my boyfriend
