You'll never slave enough for your enslavers.
As a direct descendant of enslaved people why would you settle for less than justice from the direct descendants of the enslavers?
Believing in yourself, believing that the work you do is enough, is bad for business.
I'll never forget the term drapetomania because it's a great example of industrialization weaponizing independence. Codependence is vital for "America" to work, literally 🥲
Being ADOS, FAB, black, a yn whatever lmao is difficult because you're damned. You're damned to stereotypes, expectations and options that feel chosen for you. Afrikan culture is multiculturalism. Our culture is making a way out of no way, options out of no options. Creating hope from hopelessness and having faith in higher powers has always felt integral to black american culture. I'd like us to have faith in a higher power that sets us free.
Earth doesn't need us, men do. Earth wants us to explore and be free. After years of trial and error evolution I believe sadness is a disservice to our ancestors lol. From knowing what's poisonous to enjoying air conditioning I'm grateful for modern industries that support our modern independence.
May we all (especially the direct descendants of enslaved people) be seen, valued, enough and free.
