Back on the ice on Saturday to take advantage of the beautiful weather! The fish weren’t so active below the ice, but the wildlife was above it!

Took advantage of the break in the lake-effect snow to dig out the path to the sauna!
Spent 2 ½ hours on Sunday morning with Charlie digging this pile of snow away from the entrance to the house. Jay had pushed it off the day before which was awesome; however, it was about 5 to 6 feet deep all the way to the entrance, but no more!
One of the challenges associated with living near Lake Superior is the continual need to keep the snow from accumulating to too large an amount on the roof tops! Thank goodness for the roof rake!
It seems like every day in January has been a repeat of the last! Another lake-effect coating of powder to be dusted off the vehicle and shoveled off the driveway and paths!
