The lake-effect snow machine has been cranking away this week and the birds have been hitting the feeders really hard! We had some rather husky blue jays hit the scene who absolutely dwarfed the chickadees, nuthatches and finches.

Caught this 6.87 pound northern on Saturday and took 5th place in the pike category in the Chassell VFW Ice Fishing Tournament!
Back on the ice on Saturday to take advantage of the beautiful weather! The fish weren’t so active below the ice, but the wildlife was above it!
