Today’s fun find is within Ms. Codex 1262, a literary miscellany written in 15th century Italy that features a collection of Latin poetry and prose, consisting of mostly classical sources, but also containing some medieval works.
There are two fun finds here: decorated catchwords in various sizes and banners, and the best part - this decorated ‘P’ initial with the face of a man who needs a fresh shave.
