Sleek outfit, featuring an antique tsuzumi (hand drum) obi, paired with this modern iromuji* kimono with a cute sharemon.
Sharemon are modern embroidered mon/emblem used only for decorative purpose - unlike traditional kamon which are family/clan crests marking a kimono item as formal.
*Iromuji usually designates any plain kimono in any color BUT black. Plain black kimono are called mofuku and traditionally only worn for funerals. This modern kimono with its cheerful sharemon blurs the lines but is definitely not a mofuku so = iromuji it is ;)
