Food is a religious experience for me and this was the destination of our pilgrimage. In a building built with sweat and bare hands for food made with those same elements. A dedication to the craft of food preparation that only starts and ends with love. These folks do things not because they’re by any means easy, but because it is the right thing to do, to support the community and honor the amazing ingredients provided by them. I am inspired by the hard work they do every day and hope that one day I can build something in our community with the same honor.
